The Lord has called us all to his beautiful vocation. Growing up, priesthood was never on my mind, coming from a nominally Catholic Irish and Italian family. If there’s anything I remember from childhood, it’s those times of coming together as a family, and that has deeply influenced my understanding of the faith as a parish priest.
